Default Bike was down and running...

Trying to teach the girl to ridea Ninja 250and she put the bike down. Never seen anyone put a bike down so that was freaking funny. I'll be riding bia now so she feels safe.

Anyways the bike was still running after she dropped it. Do these not have tip over sensors? I know my Zuki and CBR have them and this being a beginner bike sure seems like they should. Anyone know?

No, the 250R does not have a tip over sensor.

The "intertia" sensor that your referring to, doesn't always work. So even if she did put it down, it might not have been enough to trip that sensor. My bike has been over twice while running, the worst of the two, it was laying almost completely inverted, against a couple trees...... and still running. I dont know why, but the inertia sensor wasn't tripped. On the contrary, it once tipped over in a parking lot off the kickstand and for some reason that was enough to trip the sensor and kill it. just my .02

The more expensive bikes will have 'tip over' sensors, but I have never heard (or found) an inertia sensor on the 250R. Possibly the '08s got one, but not the older 250's.
