Wassup N/S???? The amps look all right, but you need voltage too. If you have a diode burnt out, you will still have amperage, but no or low voltage which will stop the battery from taking a charge. It's like a square peg in a round hole!! See if you can get the voltage at Idle and at 3500 rpm. Or you can take the battery to a local parts store and they can run a load test on it... I bet the battery is toast.

So Should there be 12 volts at 3500 any different and there is a problem. I have 12 volts with the bike off but it will not start until I charge it. I will check this morning on the volts while running.

MK, sup bro did you get the pm about april.

Got rice Ummm no I think I will keep it, but thanks for the offer.
I like the 04-06 r1 look alot, wonder if they will make a change for 07, it is about the length off time Yamaha waits between changes.

Okay so I just went and tried to start her and she cranked once and then just clicked. I checked the battery and have 12 .8 volts. I put the charger on and it says dead.
Guess it is time for new battery if it will not hold a charge overnight.

Yup. Sounds like the battery is toast. Probably a dead cell. If you put a kawasaki battery in it, it will gain you about 12 hp!!! ha ha ha...j/k bro...
