Bad electrical mistake
We need help..
My brother had his battery on the charger.. When i went to it back in his 2K vulcan 1500. I crossed the Battery cables, sparks everywhere.. Had to buy a new battery. This time made battery connections correctely. Turned on key no power anywhere. Do i feel like a dope.. Question: Where and what do i start troubleshooting first? Any help anyone can give would be greatly welcomed.. Babs |
RE: Bad electrical mistake
Fuses...Fuses...Fuses...I'm not sure where they are on that bike but look for the fuse box...

RE: Bad electrical mistake
yes check the fuses and make sure the the new battery is charged too

RE: Bad electrical mistake
Make sure you check the main fuse also. It's not in the fuse box with the rest of them. It's probably in a little socket right next to it with a rubber cover over it.
