Any downfalls for riding without muffler?

Took my canister off of my 98 zx6r and i like the way it sounds, but im afraid riding with it may make it run rich/lean?

Should be able to remap it and run it open pipe I would run a longer tube though to help exit the exhaust further back away from under ya.

Well your gonna put your powerband really low and run extremely lean....fix the lean issue and you shouldnt have any problems

I doubt someone makes an off the self jet kit for running with no can so you would need to guess the adjustments and then test on the dyno, then adjust and retest then if your lucky adjust and get it right but still retest to make sure. Probably take adjustments to hit it. After paying for all the runs you could have just bought the loudest can available with their tuning recommendations and still had $$ left over to take out some honeys :D

Buy a can or like evil said rejet.

notstock...I dont think it would run that lean. It shouldnt run much leaner than my bike with the gutted cat and muffler...and it runs great after I did the PCIII
