RE: Any downfalls for riding without muffler?
Should be able to remap it and run it open pipe I would run a longer tube though to help exit the exhaust further back away from under ya.

RE: Any downfalls for riding without muffler?
Well your gonna put your powerband really low and run extremely lean....fix the lean issue and you shouldnt have any problems

RE: Any downfalls for riding without muffler?
notstock...I dont think it would run that lean. It shouldnt run much leaner than my bike with the gutted cat and muffler...and it runs great after I did the PCIII

RE: Any downfalls for riding without muffler?
It should be lean if you remove the pipe, the restriction to the exhaust system, it will allow more air to flow through the fuel system and make it run lean.
Installing the PC on your FI bike is like jetting the carbureted ones. |
RE: Any downfalls for riding without muffler?
Can you replace the cannister with a slipon streight pipe and a baffle? Would that give you enough back pressure and prevent you from running too lean?
