Will a 1992 zx750Lor 1988zx750 alternator work with a 1989 zx750 H1?

I would check bikebandit.com and see if the factory part #'s match between the years.

Just go to the Kawasaki website and cross reference both models and years with the part #, that is how i found out that a 02ZX6voltage rectifier will fit my 98 ZX9.......

I would almost bet that the '88 750 ninja alternator would work with the '89 zx7. They did not really change the engines much. Same cases and levers.

Good luck with that. I hope they do. I priced a alternator for my 1989 ZX 750R-F-3 $850.00 for a complete new one. I think it was about $830.00 on bike bandit.
