I live in the highlands of New Guinea and all our fuel is flown in. It sits forever in steal drums in a very humid climate so we have lots of rust in the fuel. I've tried multiple filter options, no luck. I also have to drive into town and fuel there before coming back to the village where I live, so, I don't have as much control on fuel as I'd like. As a result i have fuel injector issues and every 600 miles or so I have to pull the injector out and try to clean it which doesn't seem to work very well. I have pretty decreased power and often stalls when hot or working hard. I live at 4000ft and ride regularly up to 11,000ft here. so I don't know how much is altitude and how much is injector. I would like to go to a carb set up cause it is easy to clean out and work with but am I sacrficing too much? Any advice on a new fuel set up or cleaning the injector?
