i have a 93 750 ninja and i cleaned the carbs and put back on to fire it up and it turned over great but battery was gettin drained so charged it..(was hooked up corectly) but anyways now all it does is click from the junction box when i press start button.. it is in nuetral and will turn over when cylinoid is shorted across but doesnt have any fire? the headlights that normaly were on were off so i taped the juncton box and they came back on. any idea on what the problem might be.. would it be the juncton box or what? thanks. aaron

 

Just re-check all the connections, and make sure it is indeed charged.

 

How old is your battery? A fully charged old battery can still be bad even with 12.5 volts on hand.It'sa common misconception to believe good batteryvoltage= goodcurrent output. With a constant clicking noise on a charged battery, (and good connections too) I would recommend replacing the battery altogether.

 

got it figured out. sat around with electrical tester all night and finaly figured out it was the starter cylinoid(spelled incorectly..sorry) taped it and it began to fire... i appereciate the effort to help im sure i will have more questions before it is up and running...
