I have a 1985 454 LTD. Just recently it has started giving me problems. It starts fine like it always has but when i put it in gear and start to let the clutch out it dies. It will idle fine. I had originally thought it might be the kick stand censor that doesn't allow you to go if the kickstand is down. If it is that i need to know how to fix it. Please Help!

The kickstand switch is just that. It makes contact or opens. At the leads, ie two wires. Place a jumper on those two leads to make them "closed". Try it. If that does not work, sounds like we need to go further in the troubleshoot. Have fun.
