Default 2009 KLX250s grip help

Hi all ,new here
I just bought an 09 klx250s with 2 k miles on it. Its was garaged kept and never off the street, in new condition.
Anyway
I want to add foam grips that slip over the existing grips and i am unsure what size to order. Does anyone know what the diameter of the stock grips are?
or is there a better choice soft grip to slip over existing grips? Stock grips are too small for my hands
thanks for any help

Can't you just measure your current grips since that's what you want to go over? I don't know of any foam ones that fit over existing grips. Perhaps you can wrap some black athletic tape around them to make them thicker.

Here's what i bought, only way to get them on and quite easily i might add is with an air compressor. You need a blow nozzle, pinch the end and inflate them while you push them on. Very comfy grips compared to the hard stock rubber. I put alot more weight on my grips riding my klx250 versus my vtx1800 because of the way you sit on the bike
