Default 2003 zx6r problem

I am wondering what could be my problem on my bike I was riding it fine today then I noticed the temp raising to 180 to 200 something. and then the bike started bogging and I noticed it then I turned the bike off and let it sit. But it wont start what could possibly be the problem? I'm thinking the battery might be dead even though my lights work cause when I try to start it I hear the battery making weird noises. Someone please help and the FI light is showing now.

Hey Kam, start with the basics; check battery/wiring connections, coolant level, rad fan (working? If not, check the fan temp switch sensor connections), any puking coolant out of the reservoir? Any visible coolant leaks? Any "milk" in the oil? Does the engine turn over at all? Please give us more details....

I checked for mostly leaks/wires yesterday I didn't see anything hanging or leaking I also tried to get to the battery yesterday but I couldn't figure how to take my seat out until now, I will look at it today once I get off work since its at my friends house and I will let you guys know more. I am thinking its the battery "Is it possible for the lights to all work" if the battery is dead? because when I press the ignition it starts making static noises and when I trace that noise its near my battery box and my gauge starts resetting and my FI light shows on. I'm gonna try to charge it today does it matter how much volts? because I am going to use my friends car charger to charge the bike & some reason my fan isn't turning on that could probably be the problem as well. & my oil is new I poured new oil in since I drained my old one out and put new oil/filter also could it maybe be this that cause the problem I ordered a new stator cover replace it with a new one BUT I didn't change my gasket I kept the old one on BUT it didn't leak oil or anything. But I will replace my gasket today IF the new one comes in. I was just riding on the old one temporary.

There is a good starter circuit/headlight relay inspection test on page 16-74 of your manual. Basically, if the junction box is removed, 0 ohms is needed on connections 1-1A, 1-2, 3A-4, 6-5, 6-10,6-7,6-17 for the fuse circuit.

The relay circuit inspection with the batter disconnected-

connections 7-8 infinity, 7-13 infinity, 13-9 not infinity

The starter circuit inspection with the battery disconnected-

9-11 infinity, 12-13 infinity, 13-11 infinity, 12-11 not infinity

Looks like the junction box is or may be problematic with all of the testing required.

The numbers were the pin connectors. The service manual does a better job on explaining most of the time and sometimes I do not elaborate more either.

So check your junction box and relays. If you already know that you have a good and tested battery. And, get yourself a manual for your ride.
