I’m new here and this is my first post, so I appreciate any help in advance.
I have a 2003 Prairie 360 4x4 that won’t shift into 4wd. The belt light is flashing in such a pattern that matches the screenshot below. I assume the bike won’t shift into 4wd due to this issue.
The belt itself is fine with no slipping and the switch hasn’t been tripped inside the belt/cvt cover. I performed the reset procedure in the service manual that includes swapping the gray and black plugs, unplugging the belt failure detection switch, and turning the ignition on, but it still shows the same flashing pattern after resetting.
The service manual states that if the flashing pattern doesn’t go away after the reset procedure, that the whole led indicator unit needs to be replaced, which the cheapest I can find is $330 bucks (yikes).
Basically what I’m getting at is, do I need to buy this part for 4wd to work again, or is there anything else I can try to avoid spending almost $400 on a part.
I have a 2003 Grassland 360 4X4 that is having 4 wheel drive issues. My issues is that it is as of now in all wheel drive however won't dis-lock in. I eliminated the actuator and checked that it is working. I tidied it up and lubed it as indicated by Mudinmyblood's site. Associated it's anything but a charger and she turns. Be that as it may, it won't withdraw. Anything I can do to get it to dis-lock in? Or on the other hand am I trying the actuator the incorrect way? Much obliged ahead of time.
