Default 1998 zx600 g water temperature.

I just bought the aforementioned motorcyle, and it was running fantastic, ran it about 75 miles home, but down to a lower elevation, and its struggling to stay alive, obviously the carbs need to be adjusted and maybe rejetted to run smooth, but the biggest problem is that it is also running hot, and it is about 95 degrees here, but the water temperature light is always on, and i havent owned too many foreign bikes, does anyone know where water/coolant goes in at, and what kind works best?

Welcome to KF

Check your overflow bottle to check on your coolant condition level. A plastic bottle similar to your car coolant bottle, generally located just inside of the front fairings.

Are you seeing any leaks, milk in your oil? Is your rad fan coming on? Why is it running hot? How hot is "hot?" Puking or steaming out the coolant overflow tank? DO NOT let it get too hot; bad things happen at high temps.

Gadz; my bad. Welcome to the Forums, Rockstar!
