i am trying to get my forks off to have the seals re-done. the throttle side was simple enough , the clutch side is messing with me a bit. i cant figure out how to get the front tire off . there is an axel that goes thru the rim and ??? does it unscrew or to you have to drive it out?? i am missing something small here but have stopped as to not damage anything until i figure this part out .

 

Generally you have the axle nut and the pinch bolts in the lower legs. Once the pinch bolts are loosened, you should be able to twist the axle and pull it out.

thanks dragone , i sprayed it with penetrating lube and let it sit over night , i just got it off and got the forks off too!!!
