Default 1984 KN700

I just bought this 1984 kn700,and don't know squat.
The timing chain is making alot of noise, but it runs good.
Is there a manual adjustment on the tensioner?if so can someone explain how it works. thanks for any help.

Try APE motorcycle products. I bought my manual chain tensioner through them.

The timing chain probably jumped a few teeth. Take off the valve cover and re-time the cams & crank. Hopefully you didn't bend any valves. Remove all the spark plugs. When rotating the crank, if it doesn't want to turn, don't force it. remove the cams and then turn the crank.
