im trying to get this dang fuel pump outta the tank to clean it i think it causing my bike to die after a few seconds of idle. It sat for a while.and i cant get it out is there any tips?

i got it out but the tank it was dirty but not to bad i put it all back together still dies a few seconds after starting it anyone have any ideas please help i need this thing running..

Thanks HD for the move. I am slacking some it seems. Any FI lights? socal 6r What was your fuel pressure when you tested it? The 05's do have a tendancy of smokin the ecu as well. Just tossin that out there to be aware of as well. Hopefully some of our hard core guru's will chime in shortly.
