Default 03-04 ZX-6r head light mounting tab

Any one have any advice on reataching the mounting tab. The rest of the head light housing is in great shap just the mounted tab busted off. I tried to use some permatex expoxy it seemed to work for a little while but all the bumps in the road made it come off again. Any one know of stronger epoxy? I don't want to spend 300 for a new head light housing because of one tab.Any help would be great.

That would be the same tab that broke off. It seems like the plastic in that area might be to thin to melt it together. A friend said that ACE has some epoxy that can hold up too 2 tons? never heard of it but i figure its worth a try to look for some stronger epoxy to see if it will hold this time.
Ive had some people say use Bondo? and a friend say to try JB weld. I know JB weld is some strong stuff any idea if it works for plastics?

I have no experience in this prob but I use MEK and shredded ABS mixed and dissolved to make my plastic welds most of the time.

that looks like it might work. I'll see if a store near me has it. There is a store called TAP plastics that sells all kinds of things like this as well as raw fiber glass/carbon fiber. Im sure they will have it some thing simular. Let me know the the JB weld works. I can say that permatex abs epoxy will only work for alittle while it gave out after about 300-400 miles.

Another question the head light housing it is abs plastic or normal plastic? I am going to be repairing it tonight and I stoped by a store last night and picked up this stuff that bonds ABS plastics together. The same as plastic repair product, only this stuff works only on abs plastics.
