So this is a pretty cool story just thought I would share. I was headed for about an hour trip for a wedding. So a corvette passes me and I get behind him just to draft and avoid the police from picking me out of the speeders. The bright orange kinda sticks out. But any way he was probably going 75-80 mph. Then all of the sudden he starts to speed up. So I was like ok I will stay up with you. So we are going about 100 and he is still going so I was like ok buddy. I just punched it and flew past him. I looked down and I was going 145 mph and I was like wow. So if any one says that the 7's can't get up and go well they are wrong. This bike is just awesome. But any way I put him to shame and it was fun. Just thought I would share. But its one of those you had to be there things.

yep the black orange and carbon fiber. Thats the look. Yep and I didnt see a cop the whole trip. How about that. Not that I condone speeding or anything !

 

The hour trip was before or after not condoning to speeding! lol The 7's are a great ride.

 

Well you know it was supposed to take an hour and a half. So I just shortened it up a little. lol

 

It can do a lot faster than that... I saw 165 on the speedo of my 93 once... realspeed was closer to 143-145

 

So what you are saying was your speedo was off?

 

most speedos are off a little or so I have heard...anyways about the 7 I love mine too

 

well that sucks guess I was probably going slower then. Oh well my bike still cost less than his vette.

 

+1 still looking for a nice race myself. I came up to a new Camaro and looked over, gave him a knod and he just chickened out. There's only one cop on duty on the week-end and he was directing traffic for a camaro cruise.
