Default ZX14 mods

Will removing the throttle blades on a stock 08 ZX14 improve throttle response?

from what I have read, removing the secondary flies will help out. Although that is just from what I have read. I have not moved up to that bad boy 14. Has not fit my style just yet.

Default Dampener and Exhaust mod questions

I am looking into an Ohlins or Gpr steering dampener...any suggestions? I am also looking into the Muzzy dual slip-on exhaust system for my bike. Will I have to get a power commander if I only do slip-ons?

Welcome to KF. I say hold off on a steering damper until you get your suspension all set up for your needs. If you plan on extracting the tq and hp from what a slip on can give you, you should dyno the ride with the PC. But consider a full system and a tune to get the sweet benefits. (my 10r experiences only)

Thanks for your reply Dragone, the only mods i've done to the bike are the frame sliders, alluminum fan blade and bracket eliminator which unfortunately left me with two holes under my ecu that I have to try and find some kind of plugs for. I called Muzzy and complained about the two holes they did'nt account for and they said I was the first person to complain about that....go figure..lol

Be careful with the metal Muzzy fans. They will buzz into your rad if the clearance is too tight.
