after doing some research there is really no comparison... i feel stupid for even asking one to compare the 2... i was a fool to ever think of a yamaha vs the Kaw. forgive me men.

(i had to change my name on here bc i forgot my damned pw) sorry guys.

No probs....good luck with the bike. We kid about the yamahas and zuks, but in the end it is a decision on what you personally feel comfortable with.

pretty much really the only differnece between the bikes now is the style they all perform pretty much the same.

If you go with the R6S, you're getting a remanufacture of previous R6. It's the same thing Kawi did with the ZZR600.Kawi calls the ZZR600 a sport tourer for insurance purposes, but it is a 2002 ZX6R. If you like the Yamahamaha, get it. Personally, I think it's ugly, but it's all personal style and taste. Another option for you to look at is the ZZR600.
