Many thanks for replying yes I think so each wire seems to be carrying about 3 or 4 at least that is what the tester is saying not sure if I'm doing it correct but there is some sort of power
With the multimeter set in the DC volts scale you should see 12-13 volts at the headlight connector (lights turned on).
With the multimeter set in the lowest Ohms scale you should read some reading less than 1000 ohms across the removed headlight terminals.
Both of these are the correct conditions when all is working correctly.
No (or low) volts in the first means a fuse, relay, wiring, connector(s), battery, or switch somewhere in the headlight line is bad. No reading (infinite Ohms) in the second condition means the headlight bulb is bad.
