Exclamation WTF is this world coming too

Was looking in the August issue of Dirt Rider and came upon this ad

http://quantya.us/

WTF is this world coming to. Uhaul went to all gas engines because people didn't like the smell or sound of diesel fuel. Now this.

hmm - does that chain look to anybody else like a bicycle chain? looks pretty flimsy which would indicate a lack of power.

If someone would make an electric version of my bike that is just as fast or faster, I'd have one in a minute. It's just used for commuting 90% of the time anyway. I think it'd be fun as long as it holds a charge long enough for me to run multiple errands.

Actually I saw those a couple of years ago, they look pretty cool, the advertisement was that you could lift them over a fence and ride on. But then again I think you gotta weigh like 130 lbs to ride them. And that takes me out of the equation.
