Two days in a row I was out riding! Took the bike out on Saturday evening for a short trip - then went out on Sunday for a couple of hours! I feel much better now!

The weather was absolutely incredible! [sm=happybounce.gif]

I'll be back this Friday though, so you can bet I'll be headed out this weekend... maybe reeealy early before anyone else gets on the roads. Fingers crossed hoping for good weather.

 

I've been around, its been busy at work and I had a small crisis with my dog. But all is good now - well work is still busy!

I'm telling ya gerg, you gotta get home and get on that bike - that or send the bike to me, and I'll make sure she's well taken care of!!! I'm crossing my fingers for ya about the weather (heck I want some good weather too!)

 

Oh no! What happened? Glad the dog's ok again... I'll be home all too soon... counting the days now... oh yeah baby... daddy's commin.

A couple weeks ago, I picked up my dog from the groomer and I noticed a lump on her throat. It was quite large so I thought I'd get it checked out by the vet. So I take the dog to the vet, get her vaccinations done, since she needs them anyways and the vet took a fluid sample from the lump. She sent the sample off to a vet college in another province for analysis. So over the weekend, my dog stopped drinking water and eating her food. She wouldn't bark and was drooling. The lump had also grown a lot bigger. So I took her back to the vet and she was put on anti-inflammatories, steroids and antibiotics (since we didn't get the results back the vet decided to treat her for everything that she could think of). She thought that my dog might have cancer or an infection - but she was leaning toward it being cancer. So anyways, I was worried that I was going to have to put my dog down. Well by the end of last week, I got the good news that there were no cancer cells in the sample that the vet sent off. So now it looks like its just and infection. As of this morning the lump is pretty much gone. And my dog is back to her old goofy self again!

All is good now!!!!!

 

Me too!!! Actually the interesting thing is exactly one year ago, it was the first time I ever drove a bike (at the safety course) Kind of nice to celebrate the one year anniversary out on the bike!! Now it better stop raining - so that I can get out for another ride!!!!!
