I've always been a Pirelli Diablo man myself and have been really loyal. But I'm thinking about maybe trying something new once I get these cheap @ss OEM Bridgestones that came with my bike. [:'(] I know the Metzeler M1, Michelin Pilot Powers and Dunlop D208 ZR are great tires, but does anyone have any happy/horror stories with any of these? Have you found some of these to be overrated?

 

Ok, just another question to add to your topic. Were you comfy with your suspension? With the tires mentioned?

 

oh yea. Just thought since I can't change wives, I can at least try a new set of tires. LOl Thank God she doesn't read any of my forums!! I might be sleeping on the couch .... again.

I'd hate to see how other tires are (currently I have Bridgestone's on mine) I find them to be pretty good, no complaints. Haven't been bit by the tire bug yet when it comes to the bike

After I got done with the POS Bridgestone 020's that came on my ZRX, my last 7 sets of tires were Dunlop 208's. They handled well, lasted long enough for me ( got 5k from the rear, but I always change both at the same time). Now I am on a set of M1's. Went to them because they are on clearance because Metzler has a new compound. I like them. Only have about 1500 miles on them, but I haven't had a chance to really hit twisties with them since I live in South Florida. Will be head for North Ga in June to see how well they stick. Everyone who's had them say they are great.

My tire guy has great deals. I just may go buy a couple of sets to have in the garage for when I'm ready for them.
