Default Warm tires vs cold road

So I as just curious. With the high of only 40 degrees this week I still wanna ride. I've calming down around the twisties latley since the weather got cold. I still want to get my game on and wanted to know how much difference the cold road would have on tires if any.I'm running an 05 636 with about 400 miles on a set of pp2cts' Any advice?

I would just take it easy. No need to reck your bike over something silly like loosing traction.

Just use some common sense OMalley, Kinda like riding in the rain or the snow. You can still have fun!

cold road = less traction.

Cold weather just gives you a good reason to wear a full cow suit on the street!! The only weather that should stop you is snow and ice. Kinda like riding a dirt bike to get better on the street; cold, rain, wind, it's all good for you. Just finished a ride (about 15 minutes ago.) Windy as he** in SW Ohio with a cold front coming in tonight. I'll say it again; Eddie Lawson didn't get his wet weather chops by only riding in sunshine. Get out there and do it!!

Ahh, someone who feels my pain. Right on Jeff! You got a good point ....do you think it's possible to studd street tires for this winter? ha-ha Because walking by the bike as it sits is really going to suck!
