Default Vulcan 900 vs shadow 750

Hey guys, i have been reading over this forum and you all seem to know what your talking about for the most part.

I'm fixing to buy my first cruiser. This will be the first i have owned other than a couple of dirt bikes over the years. I have been leaning toward the honda aero 750, until today i stopped in a kawasaki shop and looked at the 900 vulcan.

Overall which bike would you guys recommend? Thanks.

Well, both are good bikes. The Shadow has been around for awhile. But I like the Vulcans looks better. So it be me, I would go with the Vulcan for looks and bigger engine

I'd pick the Vulcan 900 anytime over the Shadow. But between the Vulcan Classic and the Custom, I'd go with the Custom, as I'm not a huge fan of spoked wheels.

Welcome to the forums, so we know what we are talking about "for the most part"? I must fit into the "other" category.

I'd definately go with the Vulcan. The Shadow 750 is a very nice bike, but it is an outdated design (circa 1985) and doesn't have the power of a Vulcan 900. Just my $0.02.

I have a 750 honda spirit good bike last for ever ,,but times go fast .vulcan 900 is better ,,custom is in my opinion the best one ,,stay away from spoke rims as zzrotceh said,,you will understand with your first punch tire,,however if you want to spend a little more money jump to a yamaha v start 950.
