I searched the forum to no avail. From what I've read in the publications, these bikes can run sustained high rpm no problem, all day long. Case in point, I ride 20 freeway miles to work; top gear 80mph at about 10,000rpm. I've had no problems, in fact the fan does't even come on at stops.

Has this been your experience as well; nothing to worry about?

 

Frequent oil changes if you are doing that all the time.

 

^agreed, and check your cooling system/flush more often as well.
