Default sport bike stereos

have any of you seen stereos that can go on your sportbike and look good. by the way my bikes a 04 zx6r

lol...um, no.

There was a dude at one time that installed a stereo on his sport bike. But it was all custom work kinda thing.

its just that i was at the gratiot cruise here in michighan kinda like woodward dream cruise. anyways a guy on a 05 or 06 zx6r pulled up next to me and had a stereo on his it was just two speakers in the dash area with a ipod dock on the hadlebars. we werent stopped long enough for me to ask him but it looked almost like a kit. so that is where i got it from

I gotcha. I don't think there is a kit, but maybe. I'll look around and If I find one, I'll post it up.

thanks i think in order for the speakers not to look goofy i am going to have to cut some of the plastic and mount them next to the dash display because there is alot of room on there.

the shop in my area sells and installs them. it's a thousand bucks just for the equipment and then you pay for install too. YIKES!!!

Here is a much cheaper option. Just use the ipod alone.

I mean how much are you going to hear from speakers anyway when at high speeds (55 mph)? Then also add in your wearing a full face helmet.

i do just use my ipod now but i was thinking if it wasnt to much more it would be a pretty cool ad on to the bike but looks like to much money so back to regular ipod
