Default So my wife wants a bike

She has been a passenger 4 about four seasons now and wants to ride. I cant decide how i feel about it on 1 hand it would be great she would start to understand the true passion i have 4 riding-a hobby we can enjoy together, more solo riding 4 me, chicks on bikes are hot etc...On the other hand it can go bad in a hurry its a jungle out there. i have been riding all my life and am (fairly) confident in my abilities and have had my share of spills but was young lucky and healed quick.at least once a week if not once a day in the riding season something happens to give you that o #$@t moment ie. cell phoned idiots, potholes, sand, and around here moose deer and cows.I cant even imagine something happening to her.She is a great passenger that loves to be in the wind and i guess that puts us both at risk at the same time on the same bike (we have a two year old) I would really like her to ride but am scared of the dangers geuss i ultimatly leave it up to her after i already introduced motorcycling to her its too late to take it back. if she does she is definately taking the "class" we have one here thats couple days hands on and classroom and they provide the practice bike mabe we should just start ther sorry for rambling on

That is really nice to hear. I understand your concern though. At least your woman wants to ride. It is a free world so to speak.

I felt the same way when amfd told me she wanted to start riding. Just have her take an MSF course. Then decide from there. Having a riding partner is pretty cool though.
