RE: riding in the rain/wet
After riding my enduro in the rain and then a friends 500 Ninja the other day. I personally feel safer on the Enduro. Maybe it's just the thought of the tires. To me I worried the Ninja tires were closer to slicks and wouldn't push the water out. Either way I've riden in the rain several times on the KE and I just slow down.

Felt like a newb too in the rain for the first ( and last time ) Thought I was riding on ice well my back tire was shot at the tim to begin with. It takes awhile to build up trust in your tires.

So I know all about suspension with the mx thing and is there much difference for the street? I'm sure all my setting are at stock position. I'm 5'8 165 and looking to be a little more plush and drop sooner into the twistys. I'm just making sure I can use the sam knowledge on the street.
any tips would be appreciated, or a previous thread.

RE: riding in the rain/wet
I know how you feel, my last day at my MSF class was in heavy rain for most of the day, and we had to weave through cones through puddles and wet road all day. To my surprise I couldn't tell the difference in the handling from the 2nd day where it was wet, to the first day when it was dry. However, on the road, there is much more things, such as oil and such that can add to making the wet roads worse. Just ride slower, focus more, break sooner, and have confidence in your bike and in yourself.
