I am Looking at a 1991 500 EX, it has about 22,000 miles on it.

My first question is is that amount of mileage way to high, should i continue looking for something else?

Second what is this bike worth, the owner wants 1750 for it, i think that it is a little high because it has been dropped and needs new tires

id offer that guy 800 bucks and no more. he dont mention the maintainence on it but im sure hell tell you it was regularly done and it dont need a valve job. if you saved up 2 grand you could find a newer bike with less miles and no dents. just my 0.02 tho.

 

i agree with evil the price is a little steep for being that old with that many miles.

 

$1200 is my thoughts right now on a price.

he's probably listed it high expecting people to want to haggle. its normal for craigs list. mine was listed at 2600 and i got it for 2100 - its a was a 95 zx6r with 15K on it and some cosmetic damage from being dropped (nothing major just scraped up fairings)

you can probably get it for 1200
