Default oil leak from air box, won't idle

I have a 82 KZ440 that just started leaking oil from the air box drain tube. I changed the oil and I am sure I have the right amount of oil in it. The engine doesn't smoke or make any unusual noises when it runs. It also just started an idling problem. I've had a problem of fouling the left side spark plug so I removed the carbs and when I removed the top covers I found the diaphragm had a hole on the left side carb. I did a temp fix to the diaphragm (super glue) to see if that would help, it didn't. I can get it to idle for a few seconds but the longer it runs it will stop idling and die. I'm wondering if both my problems are related or do I need to replace the diaphragm assemblies on the carbs. Thanks for any advice.

It could also be dirty pilot jets. Have you cleaned the carb jets yet?

Is that an air filter that has oil? too much oil? Not supposed to have oil?

It's all a related problem. You're getting crankcase oil "blow-back" into the airbox because there is a venting issue. Kinda like having a stuffed-up nose. I'm guessing there is/are some vent hoses or something which is blocked. Think of what an EGR valve does and you'll get the idea. It's there, somewhere...
