Yeah^ agree, Mike. Those slammed things are just OK in a straight line, but horrible in the corners. They are a blatant tip-off (to me) that the owner doesn't know squat about physics. Ask yourself if looking "cool" is more important than being safe; seriously. Ever see a slammed GP bike? Hmmmm, wonder why?

^+1 to all above. Do you have any other numbers on what was done to the engine in the original tuning? You bought the ride in your area right? Not sure on what riding style you prefer either. Congrats on the ride, give some more info if possible. Welcome to KF.

You sure picked a sweet ride for a starter bike! I hope you can handle it. Most "tuning" on bikes is done by changing the settings on the computer. This will require a special program, and plug-ins for your bikes' year and make. If it's not back-firing, chugging, or just running off, just ride it, as it was probably tuned on a Dyno machine when the Arata full system was added. If it is not running the way you like, you will have to look into booking a time slot at an experienced Dyno operators shop, or buy some software for your computer. Bazaaz might offer something that will work, I'm not sure. Good luck, have fun, and ride safe! (The Power Commander 3 has already changed the "tuning" of your bike. It is pre-programmed.)

This should help! Good luck with your new toy! I would love to see some pics of it. Have you lived in Kuwait all of your life, or are you there temporarily? I was just curious. What are the roads like for riding in Kuwait? No disrespect intended, but I would think a dual sport or dirt bike would be a better choice. Isn't it mostly desert sands over in Kuwait? Send some pics and educate a fellow rider! Peace.

(Hey vette, my comments were primarily directed at your bike's former owner; not you. Sorry if it sounded disrespectful.)
