Default Ninja maintenance

Hey everybody,

I just got my first bike- a 2003 kawasaki ninja 500r and I love it! I bought it used with 12k on it, for 1700. Since I am new to bikes, I wanted to fine out what kind ofmaintenance I need to be doing regularly. The bike was laid down once, so there are some scratches on one side, but my thought is to not fix the fairing yet since I am still learning the bike, but I want to find out what I need to be doing in order to kind the bike in good shape. Thanks for any help guys!

I always do an oil change. I use Synthetic oil. I boughta used AZX7R mint condition but i like do do things myself. Oil Change, I changed all my fluids. Check all fluids. Keep tire pressures good and keep the bike clean. Air box and Air filter clean and the bike should be good to go. My .2

congrats on the new toy. After flushing the coolant and oil system, I still recommend getting the suspension dialed in for you. Have fun
