Default new tires pilot road 2ct's

Well after going through a set of pilot powers and flat spoting them. I have been looking into a diffrent tire with longer life but close to the same corning power. I've been seeing adds for the pilot road 2ct's but never really looked at them to recently. I've been reading review on them and have found people have nothing but good things to say about them. They have been sale since mid 07 every but the US. After looking around I found that they are going to coming to the US in late 07 some time in NOV and early 08. From what I've seen the new tire has the normal pilot road center section for long life but uses I thinknormalpilot power compond for the sides. The new tread patern is almost the same as the tread patern of the powers also. So if any of you are like me and feel like you are wasting pilot powers on doing comuting then the pilot road might be a good match.

Maybe some of the members on the board from over seas can give some insight on if they have used the pilot road 2ct's.

Never tried dunlops but I know that no one makes a tire thats as sticky as the powers that lasts as long as a touring tire. I think dunlops top tire is the qualifier. I'm sure that a rear tire wont last 6k miles worth of freeway comuting. My powers barely made it past 5k.

Hmmm. Looks like I've got some choices to make for my next tire. If the new power I got is anything like my last one I got 5k miles till its dead. So I will be looking for a new set oftires some time around jan or so.

see man this is where i feel i cant have my cake and eat it too, the stock stones are good for commuting and the powers are good for conering. i dont rail on my stockers, i get down but not often on my commuters. i also wouldnt road trip on my powers [:@]freakin tires

That is why I want to look into the pilot road 2ct. They last as long as the pilot roads (wont flatspot) while the sides are the same ruber as the powers.
