I've been going around different discussion boards and there does not seem to be a consensus as to whether people like the new tribal flames on the 2006 250's or not. Just curious what people's thoughts were on this.

 

I think that if you are asking cause you are looking to buy one, you should just get one cause you like it. You will always find someone who likes it and more who will hate it, but you are the one paying for it.


If you are asking just to ask, I like all of the 06's so far. The 636 with the tribal is sick. The new 650 may just be my long distance bike next yr.

The 250 is an all around great bike/value. If i had the cash yrs ago i would still have my 250. Over all I like kaws bold move in the paint department.

Are you still in the market for a new bike?

 

I don't like it on the yellow... Just, doesn't look all that great to me. But on all the other colors, it looks good to me!

 

I was asking just to see what people thought of it. I'd already set my eyes on a green/black 05 but when I saw the 06... [sm=drooldude.gif]

Personally I love the tribal flames. I have seen a lot of people that don't but to each his own I guess.

Just trying to wrap my head around why people like it/don't like it.

I think the 250's look great with the tribal flames! Even the yellow one doesn't look too bad! But in my opinion, the black one is by far the nicest looking! Too bad they didn't do something like that with the 500's.

 

Good grief!!!! After FINALLY finding a pic of the new 2006 250, I AM DIGGING THE COLORS SCHEME. I LIKE THE TRIBAL THANG!! I would probably pick a different color thatn yellow, but I still really like it>

 

I'm with you MK on the 600, that red is ugly. Looks like it's still being worked on or soemthing. Just looks out of place.

 

I dont like the tribal on the 636. but i dont mind the red rims cause its different. if i bought one of those id probably strip the tribal decals off. but in my opinion i think the tribal things have been done to death.

 

Dont like the yellow 250 but al the ohter color schemes are sweet! If they would have had a black 636 this last spring i may have had a different color bike although it would have been hard to choose between blue and black. but then again black is harder to notice while riding for other people.
