As mentioned in the subject. I was just curious which people think should come first, getting the first bike, or taking the MSF class? I know the MSF class teaches valuable points, but should it be used as a baseline for learning to ride, or a follow up to what you have already been taught. I don't know if I can show up on for the MSF class and they will teach you how to ride, or just teach you how to do it better. Any advice for a newbie would be appreciated.

 

the knowledge you get from the MSF class will help alot.

 

They will teach you how to ride a bike. Period. It will help tremendously.

if you are looking for a class...get on.. www.arkriders.com and ask the questions...they'll point you in the right direction....I still get on there. I love those guys! We had bike night on Thursdays. Aww I miss my guys.

 

i got my bike first, bu i knew how to ride already, but i will be taking the class in the spring.

 

I would say take the MSF class before getting a bike.

 

Take the class they teach you everything from how to properly mount your bike all the way to running over 2x4's Great class I took it and had lots of fun. You will be amazed at some of the stuff you will learn even if you have riden before.

 

MSF Class first, although I got my bike first I took the class that same week.

 

MSF first definately. they will tech you how to ride a bike so if you know how already there will be some refresher but its well worth it!!

 

Do the class, then get the bike.
