Default Motorcycle Video Mount

So I have a Kawasaki Ninja 250 and I like cruising to places and recording the sights as I pass them by. I have a motorcycle video camera mount on my bike and just recently bought a Sony DCR-SR65, a Harddrive based video camera. The problem is that since it is harddrive based, the shaking of the motorcycle will cause it to lose or reach it's buffer limits and will stop recording almost a min after I start. Anybody have a camera mount with a HDD camera experiencing the same problem? Any recommendations on what to do? Any feedback would be great. Thanks.

need a soft shock mount to remove the harshness of the vibrations. that or need a different camera that is tape or solid state (flash memory)

I agree. Even a mount with some sort of suspension would not likely be enough considering just how delicate HDD's are.
