Default michelin pilot powers

For anyone who needs real world tire reviews here you go.

Bike: 01 ZX-7R
120/70 front
190/50 rear

I've put about 2k miles on the current set and the rear tire is jut now starting to see a flat spot. I like to try and wheelie alot but I also have a 60mile commute everyday. I also ride with a passanger on the weekends alot and just took a 400 mile trip 2 weekends ago so that adds more wear as well. I had to ride in the rain today to and from work. It wasn't flash flood rain but it was coming down pretty good. I had ZERO traction problems riding at 70 MPH. I even started to try and hit puddles of standing water to make it break loose and to my suprise nothing. The only time I made the rear end shimmy was when i hit a very large lake in the middle of the road and fed alittle throttle. The wet traction on these "track tires is amazing" From the looks of the wear I should get 5-6k miles easily our of the rear. Dry traction with these tires speaks for itself. I can litterly go out and warm my bike up, take off and wheelie immediatly, no tire slippage or anything. They warm up so damn quick. Now these are the only tires i've ever run so I have nothing to compare it to other than what people tell me about there tires.

Nice...don't do the Dunlops..No traction!!

That would be some good mileage out of those if that's what you get...

Nice post man!

I think everyone would run these tire if they would try them once. I have been hearing nothing but good things about the dunlop qualifiers too.

i assume the qualifers are identical to the powers. The stealership here has a a front/rear special for 200 bucks 180\190. And another one has free mounting and balancing when you buy a set but I don't know there price yet.

No the 190 would be better for the drag strip for sure, more rubber on the ground.

I'm a big man so I have a lot of weight on my bike.
I use the Pirelli Diablos and i love them.
I only have 17,000 miles on my ride and the Pirelli's have been on there
for at least 14,000 miles.
