Default Klx 250 problems

Hi
Just looking for some advice I'm looking at purchasing a klx 250 its had a new piston but will not start once being put back together owner has said it's either a valve issue or a shim issue I'm just wondering if anyone has any advice on how easy this will be to fix or weather it's just better to find something else bike is priced very cheap
any help would be very much appreciated

Personally, I wouldn't buy it if it's not running unless you're getting it for cheap and are willing to spend more money and time at fixing it yourself.

I think it is worth buying it for £250. I don’t know about other places but here a used set of wheel costs more than £250.

For a winter project I think it’s a good deal, but sure you will have to spend a lot of money.

I agree with you. You will just spend an absurd amount of money on repairs. It's not worth it.
