Well i was just leaving the local best buy the same way i always do when i take my bike. i have to go off a curb to get back onto the parking lot and as i came off the curb the bike lost its balance and i low sided it right under trail blazer. found out how useless the no cut frame sliders really are. i was only going about 5mph and when the bike landed on the left slider the no cut bracket bent. the damage would have beem minimal if the suv that the bike slid into was not there. i am a bit sad and pissed. i just put my sliders on maybe about a week ago and now i have to get some new ones. also busted my new turn signals as well with some other stuff. i will get some better pictures up as soon as i get them. so if anyone has an 05-06 blue 636 that they have some extra parts laying around and might be interested in selling let me know. i will make a list of what i need to replace once i start taking the bike apart.

thanks i will post a list within the next couple of days. i went onto 58cycle.com to get an estimate of what the damage was and i was about $1200. i will also post some pics of my injuries. just have to say i am glad i ride with my jacket and helmet.

Your right about the slidders make sure when you replace them get nylon or derlin sliders. No metal or billet.

 

i made sure they were the derilin when i got them but i am never getting the no cut againi learned that lesson

Sorry bout the bike also. Lesson learned on the sliders for you and me both... I would have thought those would have done a better job than that.

That sucks bro. In one pic it looked like the headlight broke on the inside. Did it?
