I'm a noob
clear is legit and roadworthy. no damage and "clean" numbers
salvaged means the bike was (usually) involved in an accident ans reported to the insurance company. usually deemed not roadworthy or unsafe for public street use. also usually deemed to be parted out, an never sold as a whole to an outside consumer..
stuntbikes and closed-course racebikes usually have a salvage title because they were bought (for CHEAP) back from the insurance company and then converted to race or stunt bikes afterwards as a cheap alternative.
a salvage bike doesn't ALWAYS have frame damage tho.... ins. companies will total a bike for a dented tank and busted fairings depending on how much the parts cost.
