So I went to the bike shop and order a set of Pilot Power 2 CT's finally. The rear should be in on Tuesday and the front is on back order till the 30th. Also picked up a Vortex rear stand. I'm so friggin' excited! First time with new rubber and can't wait till they break in! [sm=happy046.gif]

Yeah, I was a little nervous putting the bike on the stand for the first time. Hopefully in the morning I can get the damn thing off without it falling over! I've heard stories of bad things happening

All you need to know deej is that it's very clean and shiny, I know you'll appreciate that.

 

I know how ya feel 'bout puttin it on the stand , the first time I did that I was very nervous but it worked out ok just take your time with it .

Breaking infor those PP's is about 2 laps or five miles in the canyon to get them up to temp, after that is on

Evil had a god tip; use some high grit sand paper to scuff up the tires.

 

It came off the stand this morning nice and easy. However, when I got home I put it back on the stand, because it just looks cool sitting in the garage like that, yeah I burned my forearm on the exhaust! Just a little half circle ha-ha.....

I try the scuff technique thanks Evil.

 

Where do you guys get good stands...preferably for cheap?
