Default How much to pay OTD

I have a deposit down on a 08 250R. The guy at the dealership said 4900 OTD. I get the feeling that, that is too much. I read on another Moto forum that you should NEVER pay over MSRP. I think that might be a little bit of a stretch. And as we all know. If you can even find a 250R right now you're one lucky sob. I want one really bad, been waiting a long time for a bike. And if I don't pay it someone else will most def. So is that too much?? Or???? It's the number one selling bike right now. Help please!! Thanks!

that is msrp. they may be selling them for 3499 but with tax licensing shipping dealer fees it ends up being about 4900.. and yes there is a very high demand for them. i feel its a high demand because of the look. everyone wants the look of the 650 but wants somethign small to start on.
why not get a 500? why buy a brand new bike? in the end its your decision i dont know your riding experience but i started on a 500. whatev man
