Sniff...(got a tissue?) Reminds me of my old Honda 900F. Ye gadz that was a hot (temp) running bike. Andrews cams, overbore, helluva ride.
Congrats on the mileage. Tells me all I need to know about you. Attaboy.

Awesome! She is still such a beauty! Was there anything significant that ever went wrong over the years? What kind of maintenance did you do?

All I have done was oil changes, valve adjustments, and about 14 sets of tires. The wheels are aftermarket, so I can't say anything about the wheel bearings. I guess I should change them soon. I've put about 25k on these wheels.

Have been running Mobil 1 15w-50 for about 75k of the 80k. I checked the valves today because it has been 10k since the last time. All were in spec. I also changed the steering head bearings today. I should have done that about 40k ago. The steering was in rough shape. Smooth as silk now.

If your bike has around 20k on it, check your bearings. If things all feel smooth, pull the lower triple and grease the bearings. Odds are there isn't much if any grease in them. Kawi
slacks in lubing stuff sometimes.
