HELP WITH A SHIFTING PROBLEM
HELLO,
HIT ME WITH ALL THE NEWS!!!!
I HAVE A 1981 650 KAWASAKI 26000 MILES
MOTOR RUNS WELL.
NOW THE HELP ISSUE-- I ONLY HAVE NUETRAL 1ST AND 2ND
IS THIS A HUGE PROBLEM? IS IT WORTH FIXING? HOW MUCH WILL IT COST APROXIMATELY?
I WILL HAVE TO HAVE SOMEONE FIX IT FOR ME (NOT MECHANICALLY INCLINED)
OR IS THERE A BOOK THAT WILL WALK ME THROUGH THE PROCEEDURES?
ANY INPUT HELPFULL!!! THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!
THOMAS

RE: HELP WITH A SHIFTING PROBLEM
If you are not mechanically inclined, clutch work is probably not the best place to start.... To have a bike shop repair it, I am guessing around 300-400 bucks???? As long as it is not the tranny.

RE: HELP WITH A SHIFTING PROBLEM
if he can get it into first and second useing the clutch and not 3rd then im going to guess internal tranny problems. definitly not a first timer job. and say on the hi side 1200.00 to repaire.
