i was thinking of buying a new bike and was wondering the pors and cons of the two can any one help?

were sorta bias here bro. welcome to KF. let me guess you posted the same thing on a suki site too huh?? ive owned a 05 zx10r and threw down some laps against some jixxer's and blew them away.

ya i am going to put this there too.I am not to fond of the R1,I am stuck on what bike i like more and was wonering what problems you have had or have heard of with the 10r and what you like best about them. I know the 10r feels alot lighter then the gsxr for 1 but i feel comfortable onboth bikes when i was siting on them. I also dont see manykawasaki riders around..... every one has an R1 or gsxr.But mechanicly i was wonderin how the 10r holds up in the past like the frame, motor, etc...... thanx

 

Never owned a GSXR let alone a 1000. Have read where the top end was not all that great, ie topend rebuilds happening for some of the guys at the track. I like my 2nd Gen 10r. Rides pretty good.

Any liter bike is going to have more then 99.9% of riders can handle. Get whatever you think looks cool and is comfy.

 

I like both...but green IS the fastest color...that help you out any?

i rode the gixxer, not impressed with all the hype the mags gave it. ask bigv he had a zx10 and crashed it and bought the new gsxr.
