GOD i LOVE those bikes!! it's not even the power for me, they are comfortable for a guy my size IMO and the styling rocks! i WILL buy one eventually, had a chance at a buddys but that's far to big for me right now and much more than my little 750 haha.
going that fast must be a rush, i've never thought about tryingg out the 7 yet especially when my tires are gone. 145mph in a car was a heck of a rush i can only imagin on a bike or faster...wow.

I read about another death wish bike last night in my latest issue of Car and Driver. The DUCATI DESMOSEDICI RR. 1500 cc, 200hp. 0-60 in 2.4. I can't even imagine.
Speed hurts too, was going 165 mph, bb sized pebble hit me under nose(not wearing full face hemut) went all over the road and was lucky no one else going my way ,shattered front teeth, face black and blue for a week. still love to go fast ,but will always wear a full face from now on.
Anyone that wears half a helmet will likely end up with half a face. I came off once around 100mph, without my fullface helmet I would be missing most of my chin and face. There was big gouges out of the chin piece and visor at least 1mm deep.
