I thought I'd weigh in again. This past weekend I did a 100 mile ride with friends, on and off dirt. We did an altitude climb of 0 to about 6,000. Both the others had DRZ350s. My KLX250 with the 13t front sprocket was awesome, no problem keeping up, so zippy. Climbed like an ape and even on the road, pulled hard from green lights. $10, 10 minutes …best upgrade!
