Hey guys,
Ride season just started here in MN, and i took my 2009 ninja 650r out, tossed the battery in it, but ran into a problem. Turned the key, all the indicator lights turned on then off a second later, and all seemed well. But when I hit my starter it didn't turn over, but rather made a soft sound (fuel pump maybe?)and the indicator light started blinking and continues to blink until i turn the key back to off. The soft sound I heard continues to make noise, but only when the blinking light is on, meaning the noise pulses on and off with the blinking of the indicator light. Anyone have this problem or have any input?

This. Did you keep it on a battery tender over the winter? Sure sounds like a internally shorted/failed battery.

 

Yeah, it was battery.
I kept it at my dads house, and he told me he just took it off the trickle charger.
He lied,
